My passion for acoustical and audio-visual design started when I was very young, when I joined my school theater's sound and lighting crew and also began researching and building a home theater in my parents basement.

Working in school theaters continuing from high school through Purdue, taught me about lighting design, large scale sound reinforcement, and many of the woes of fighting feedback. My home theater project (over the course of many years of upgrades and tweaking) taught me about video display systems and small room acoustics. In addition, my time spent playing in bands and orchestras at both high school and university levels, as well short, narrative film productions gave me an expanded scope of experiences that have been great assets on many projects that I have consulted on.

I currently work as a senior acoustic, AV, and theatre consultant at Arup in NYC.
